Cake Smash Sessions
Cake smash photography Liverpool is a very fun way to mark baby’s first birthday. The idea of a cake smash is to document baby’s first birthday with their first taste of cake.
Baby plays with the cake in front of them and usually eats it while smashing it into bits! Cake smash create some fun, in the action photo opportunities for you to keep for ever.
Cake smash are perfect for children turning one year old (shot ideally between 11 and 13 months old) or two years old (between 23 to 25 months old). However, we can shoot birthday photography at other ages too.
We supply: The cake, outfit and decoration. Unless you have something specific in mind to bring. For add on bath sessions we supply a clean towel.
You need to bring: Baby wipes. It’s also recommended you wear clothes which you don’t mind getting cake on!
45 Minute Studio Session. Photos taken before and during cake smash. 1 cake smash set (choice of Plain Background or a Decorative Background, see examples below). 1 white semi-naked cake. Decor and outfit provided. 8 edited digital photographs. The best photographs from the session will be edited and provided in an online gallery for you choose from and download.

Clean Me Up! Photography Sessions
After all the fun playing with birthday cake during the Cake Smash sessions, baby can get a little messy. Photos of baby in a warm clean up bath, playing with bubbles, water and rubber ducks, can be added on to your session. Clean Me Up sessions make a great way to end a birthday cake smash session.

Photos taken at bath time after Cake Smash session. 3 extra edited digital photographs added to your Cake Smash session, chosen from your Online Gallery of best photos.

Baby’s First Birthday Portrait Sessions are a great way to remember your baby turning one year old.
The session involves a mix of close up and crawling/walking shots. Props are often used to keep baby entertained. Two outfits can be brought.
First Birthday photos sessions should ideally be scheduled between 11 and 13 months of age.
Session includes…
30 Minute Studio Session. Props provided. 8 edited digital photographs. The best photographs from the session will be beautifully edited and provided in a personalised, online gallery for you choose from and download.
